Advice from Christine

Since arriving home form Australia in April 2003 I have been attempting to put the knowledge and information I gained there down on paper, but each day presents itself with new challenges, and with each one new insight is gained too, so a follow on book from G.H.O.S.T., has become a prerogative.

It's amazing how in the great plan of things the perfection in all is so easy to see. But, when one is bogged down in the day to day confusion of life, perfection can be the last thing on our minds! However strange or coincidental things may appear to be, each is put our way for our highest good. Now, if you have M.S., then you may or may not be reading this thinking that this text has little to offer you. Think again. What I bring your attention to, is that even now being drawn to this site was meant to be for you. What you do now, of course, is your free choice. But how about choosing life? How about choosing one with out restriction? How about choosing happiness. How about choosing love? Now before you move off the site because it's just that 'new age' rubbish. I'm talking about being responsible here. Responsible for yourself. In just that short list of choices is the means for you to move forward.

Life: A wide scope here and it would need your input as what life means to you, and I suspect that one without M.S., would come high on your list. First, acceptance is the key. Don't give yourself a hard time about it, do what you can. Do the best you can. Include in that best, the food you eat, the water you drink, the exercise you take, the time you take for yourself, the thoughts you think, the love you give to yourself.

Food: Where possible eat 'live' food. Organic is best. Keep away from pre-cooked, tinned or jars. They all have preservatives and are no good for you. You need to build up your immune system. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables , sprouting beans are especially good. Wheatgrass juice, infact juicing is an important part of the diet. Stay away from refined foods, wheat products, dairy produce. Make sure you are getting the vitamins and minerals your body needs from the food you eat. See a herbalist for anything you feel you may be lacking, there are herbs that can help with many of the body's ailments-including bowel and bladder problems. But, once you start eating right this will help too.

Water: I can't emphasise enough how important this is. Be aware, too, the type of water you drink. Mineral is the best. Filter if that's not possible. Ordinary tap water has too many chemicals in it, and your body has enough to do already with the problems it has without adding to it. Cut out tea and coffee. Herbal tea is good, but, if your buying it in those nice convenient tea bags, don't bother. The bags are bleached, so do you really need that in your body? Make your own herbal tea, preferably with the herbs you have gathered yourself.

Exercise: Now, of course, this depends on how advanced the disease is with you. But, there is probably something you can do, and don't give yourself a hard time if you can't one day. Try again the next day. Always try, and be honest to yourself about that trying. Give it your best shot! Yoga is very good if you are able, so is Tai Chi. Gentle stretching exercise is beneficial. Swimming is good, too, but a hydrotherapy pool would be better. Having said that, I feel the best is the sea- there is no chlorine in that!

Time: Meditation? Well I can hear your responses already; I haven't got time. Excuse me, but you've got time to sit at your computer and search for sites, so why isn't there time for 10 minutes a day in quiet time for yourself. You will be surprised the difference it makes to your day!

Thoughts: Ever noticed when you think of someone the phone rings and it's the person you were thinking of? Take that a step further and realise your thoughts are your creation. Still unconvinced? Take a look at your life - a true look and see what your thoughts of fear have done, and that's just one emotion. Wait till you address the rest!

Love: The hardest and most important issue mentioned here. Everything stems from this, everything. Loving others you say is easy, it's me that's the problem. Well sorry, if you're not loving you, then can you really say you love others? Love is the key to healing yourself.

Both my books have these core aspects in them. Certainly since writing and publishing G.H.O.S.T., I have had much confirmation that they are needed for good health. By reading G.H.O.S.T., I hope it gives you the inspiration to take the next step in the healing you need.

Book two is called 'The Next Step'. I'm still in the throws of putting the finishing touches to it, but I will let you know on this site when it becomes available.

Thank you for visiting this site.

Be gentle with yourself.
